歷史十字路口的香港──反送中抗爭事件中，我們可以學習的英文

香港反送中事件在國際上鬧得沸沸揚揚，這數個月下來登上不少國際媒體。台灣人民非常善良，認為民主是應該守護的價值。當然也有不少民眾支持一國兩制。香港的紛擾扯上台灣的政治，就連飲料業主也被牽扯進這場政治的風暴。

前幾天跟一位香港20歲出頭的同事聊天。好奇一問，1997年香港回歸大陸時候你們還沒有出生，為什麼這麼長時間的抗議？許多年輕人都站在最前線，即便父母擔心，他們還是風雨無阻地走上街頭。

許多台灣民眾可能一直認為這是政治議題。當政治加入許多自己的主觀思維，一切的模糊都不斷擴大。其實對年輕人來說，這是經濟議題。

原本就已經非常昂貴香港的房價，在過去這10年來漲了2倍多。這也使得年輕人對於自己未來的生存力更加擔憂。而隨著愈來愈多的中國人在擁擠的香港置產，讓年輕人對未來更加消極。
