加拿大聲樂老師爆紅！從影片學３個婉轉又不得罪人的英文表達技巧

 "I’ve also learned through" my tenure here on this project that stylistically what my ear recognizes as something where I would call like pushes, it is acceptable and maybe even something done on purpose. （「我也從」這次點評歌曲的任務中「學到了」：以表演風格的角度來說，我的耳朵聽到的那些我稱之為刻意推拉聲音的技巧是大眾能接受的，甚至可能是有意製造這種效果。）

另個例子是，老師提到她通常會鼓勵歌手用自然的聲音唱歌：

● "..if they’re willing to..."「如果他們願意這樣做，...」

I am generally bent on showing a singer what they sound and feel like by removing that. "..if they’re willing to..." most of the time they find something in there.  （我通常會盡力讓歌手了解，如果他們不要刻意塑造聲音，只用最自然的聲音唱歌給人的感受會怎樣。「如果他們願意這樣做，」大多數時候他們會在其中發現一些本來沒發現的東西。）

老師說她不會強迫歌手接受她的建議，而是 "if they’re willing to... (如果他們願意的話)" 基於對方也認同的狀況下，多了這句話就不會讓她的觀點顯得高高在上。

二、先講自己真實想法，接著補充顧及到大眾感受的中立觀點 

整個點評的過程中，我滿佩服老師的地方是，她很懂得怎樣把講話風向帶往比較中立跟和平的地方，不會堅持她才是對的，這樣比較不會得罪人，也讓人覺得比較有氣度。

所以仔細觀察她對楊丞琳的評論幾乎都是這個模式：「講完真心話 + 馬上補充中立的大眾視角觀點」。比如：

●  ... not meant to be anyone else’s opinion. 「...不代表這是其他人的看法」

先講真心話，…so I prefer Faouzia…（所以我比較喜歡剛剛另一個表演的歌手）

接著補充一個中立的大眾視角觀點：Now, that is my opinion, and that is "not meant to be anyone else’s opinion. “（這只是我的想法，但並「不代表這是其他人的看法」）

● I’m explaining not why it’s bad or good...「我不是在解釋種唱法是好是壞...」

老師提到他希望聽到楊丞琳用更自然的聲音唱歌。先講真心話，So to my ear, I’d rather hear OOO.. less affect..（所以我的耳朵比較想聽到這樣的唱法..就是不要太多修飾的感覺..）

接著補充一個中立的大眾視角觀點：So "I’m explaining not why it’s bad or good," but why it doesn’t excite me personally. But if it does excite you, great!（所以「我不是在解釋種唱法是好還是壞，」而是為什麼它對我來說沒有吸引力。但是如果這種唱法能打動你，那很好啊！）

●  ...in the grand scheme of things...neither here nor there.「若拉高視角來看.. (這些歌唱瑕疵) 都不是問題」
