1.臨時取消約定好的會議，該怎麼說？
當你和對方約定好時間，卻又必須臨時取消，首先要表達自己的歉意：“I apologize for the short notice.（抱歉這麼晚才通知你。）接下來你可以說：
(1) This is very late notice, but I’m afraid I have to reschedule our meeting for this afternoon.（我知道時間有點晚，但是恐怕今天下午的會議必須改時間。）
(2) I hate to do this, but I have to reschedule our meeting.（我實在不願意這麼做，但是我們的會議真的必須改時間。）
(3) Jack, would you mind terribly much if we rescheduled our meeting this afternoon? Something’s come up.（傑克，今天下午的會議另外改時間好嗎？我臨時有事。）
