【生活會話】上班族一天的生活都會經歷什麼？５個超實用日常英文對話

小女孩用有趣的口吻描述了爸爸的一天，既忙碌又很有戰鬥力的上班生活，相信也是大多數的上班族會經歷的一天。在影片一開始，小女孩也丟出了一個問題：What do people do all day? （人們一整天都在做什麼？）

1.How did you get to work today?

→你今天怎麼去上班？

I took the MRT to work.
我搭捷運去上班。

I took the bus／train to work.
我搭公車／火車去上班。

I rode my scooter to work.／I drove.
我騎機車／開車上班。

2.What did you do at the office this morning?

→早上你在辦公室做了什麼？

First, I checked my email and replied back to some clients. Then I had a department meeting. For the rest of the day, I did work that my manager assigned me.
首先，我收信並且回信給一些客戶。接著，我有一場部門會議。剩下的時間，我做主管指派給我的工作。

3.What did you do during lunchtime?

→午餐時間你做了什麼？

I packed my own lunch today, so I just ate in the office.
我今天帶了便當，所以我在辦公室吃。

I went out to eat with coworkers.
我和同事出去吃。

I was so tired that I took a nap during lunchtime.
我太累了，所以在午餐時間小睡了一下。

4.What did you do in the afternoon?

→下午你做了什麼？

I left the office to meet with some clients.
我離開辦公室去拜訪一些客戶。

I had a meeting with another department.
我和另一個部門有一場會議。

I wrote up some reports and sent them to my manager.
我寫了一些報告並且寄給我的主管。

5.What did you do after work?

I went to the movies with some friends, and we had a great time.
我和一些朋友去看電影，我們玩得很開心。

I went to the gym to exercise.
我去健身房做運動。

I worked overtime today. It was late when I got home, so I didn't do anything.
我今天加班。當我到家時已經很晚了，所以我沒有做任何事。
