The end of the year is fast approaching and people are starting to make their plans for how they intend to celebrate the incoming year.Traditionally in the UK people congregate in local pubs with friends and family, and enjoy a few customary drinks. Much like tea houses here in Taiwan, local pubs have always been places for social gatherings, where people converse over politics, arts and business, etc. On New Year's, people meet there just to celebrate.
