(1) Bob, I’m a little puzzled by the fax your legal office sent to me. My understanding was that New York had given me the green light on the email campaign.(鮑伯,收到你們法務部傳真給我的信件,我有一點疑惑。 to give the green light on sth.
(2) Bob, something seems off here. I went forward with the email campaign because you sent me an email agreeing to the proposal. And now I have a letter from your legal counsel. Can you help me understand the situation?(我覺得事情有點不對勁。
(3) Bob, it would appear that I may have misread the English in the email you sent. I had thought that communication was telling me to go ahead with the promotion.
Unfortunately we can’t do anything about this promotion now, since the emails have already been sent out. But it would be helpful if, moving forward, we could keep the English in future emails fairly direct, so we could avoid similar misunderstandings.
