a. 先解釋其他公司的運作模式
The integrated device manufacturers do everything.
一般的整合元件製造商（IDM）負責所有的晶片製作流程。
After designing the IC, they do the wafer fabrication, they do the packaging and testing, and then they sell them.
設計完積體電路後，他們進行晶圓製造、封裝和測試，然後再銷售這些產品。
b. 接著說明台積電的獨特選擇
The only thing that TSMC did was to"take the heart of it.
台積電唯一做的事情就是專注於晶圓製造的核心部分。
At the time, it wasn't considered to be the heart, but after TSMC took it and succeeded with that business model, people began to be a little envious about it.
當時，台積電的選擇不被認為是產業核心所在，但在台積電採用這個商業模式並取得成功後，大家就開始羨慕我們。
